Job Title: OMS Developer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled OMS Developer with experience in IBM Sterling Order Management System to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to designing, developing, and supporting our order management systems to deliver seamless customer experiences in an e-commerce and retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within the IBM Sterling OMS framework to meet business requirements.
- Customize and configure Sterling OMS to support order processing, inventory management, and supply chain workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and QA, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and maintain integrations between OMS and other systems such as ERP, CRM, and payment gateways.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Sterling OMS, ensuring system reliability and performance.
- Optimize existing OMS processes and workflows for scalability and efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in order management and supply chain solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with IBM Sterling OMS.
- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE and related technologies.
- Experience with Sterling OMS components such as APIs, services, and extensions.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and data modeling.
- Familiarity with integration tools and protocols such as REST, SOAP, JMS, and XML/JSON.
- Experience with e-commerce, supply chain, or retail systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Sterling OMS configurations like Distributed Order Management (DOM), Inventory Management, or Global Inventory Visibility (GIV).
- Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
